Ring ring, do you hear that? It's not the ice cream truck, no, it's a truck that is so much better! Last summer, Chef Johnny Hernandez of San Antonio launched margarita trucks. No, you aren't dreaming and you read that right. The pink trucks will deliver La Gloria's signature margaritas and menu items to your next party!
Chef Johnny Hernandez also runs his restaurants La Gloria, The Fruteria and The Burgerteca. When it came to adapting business due to the coronavirus pandemic, the chef knew a mobile margarita truck was just the ticket. Last year, the truck delivered its famous margaritas within 3 miles of Crockett Park in downtown San Antonio, Texas.
When it was doing on-demand deliveries, the full-service beverage truck offered drink and food packaging including various Taco Kits, Mexican Street Corn, and chips, salsa and queso from La Gloria's retail food line.
However, this summer, La Gloria margarita truck is changing it up by focusing more on event catering. The margarita truck menu includes summery tequila drinks, featuring a house margarita, prickly pear margarita, mango margarita, and blue margarita. As for the food items, the margarita and food truck sells chips and salsa and chips and queso as the perfect side to a summery drink.
